16/27.- Latakia, Ugarit, beaches

Close to the ruins of Ugarit is the Cote d'Azur of Latakia, with beaches that offer water activities (jet-ski, windsurf and banana boats). Most visitors come from the neighboring Arab nations. The area has some 5-star beach resorts.
