2/37.- Palmyra, archeological ruins

The ruins of Palmyra are located next to the Syrian city of Tadmur. You can get here by bus from Damascus. There is one every hour. From Palmyra you can take buses to other Syrian cities as well, Homs and Hamah.

A couple of days are enough in order to visit the ruins. I recommend spending only one night in Palmyra.
