South of Phuket Town is Chalong Bay, where you will find some good seafood restaurants.
Chalong Bay has no beach, it is here that most boats that do excursions to the lovely islands in the area depart from.
Chalong is also the place where most scuba diving schools have their offices. All of them have pick-up services from hotels in the main beaches of Phuket.
