29/40.- Amalfi, Tower

Menu

The 12th century bell tower makes one think of the Mid-East. Indeed, both the duomo and the bell tower add some magical ingredients to the landscape of Amalfi. Other places to visit in Amalfi include the Cappuccini Convento and the Museo Civico. Literary buffs will be interested to know that Henrik Ibsen wrote much of his renowned “A Doll’s House” at the Luna Convento, a 13th century convent transformed into a hotel.
