Jezus Eik (Jesus' Oak; in French, Notre-Dame-au-Bois, Our Lady in the Woods) was named after a tree in the Soignes Forest near Brussels on which passing travellers would nail their ex-votos. It is supposed to be a place of pilgrimage for lovers who have lost sight of each other, but more frequently visitors come here to sample local, or not-so-local, food in one of the many restaurants that line the road.
