Several activities take place in Florence during the year. Specially important are the Musical Performances, from the "Maggio Musicale Fiorentino" (in May), the Summer Musical Season (yes, in Summer) and in Winter the "Teatro Comunal". Several International Exhibitions on Contemporary Art take place in Florence also.
