Verona currently has 270,000 inhabitants and it’s the second biggest city in Veneto (the biggest one is Venice). The city is an industrial, commercial and agricultural European center. Several fairs take place here. The most famous probably is the Agriculture International Fair, which takes place every year, and the Samoter (Farming Machinery International Fair). The region’s typical products are its world famous wines, the marble and its vegetables.
